There will be regular Scout meetings & trainings every Friday and every alternate Saturdays until ATC. Attendance will be taken and is compulsory. Failure to attend these meetings/trainings will affect your conduct shown in your report book (you will be given a 'fair' conduct should your attendance be less than 75%).

You are required to bring the following items for-

Fridays: PT kit, Green 1.5 Litre Sprite water bottle, Full Uniform.
Saturdays: PT kit, Green 1.5 Litre Sprite water bottle, Full Uniform.

This will be the standard requirement for every meeting UNLESS there is a change. If there are any changes, it will be up on the blog. And if you are unable to access the blog for whatever reasons, please call another Scout for details.

NPC Team,

You are reminded that there is a camp this week from Thursday-Saturday. Please bring the usual Standard packing list items and a few extra clothes and undergarments and toiletries. You are required to fall-in with your barang-barang by 1330 hours outside the Den.


Please do not forget anything in the packing list (including notebook/file/stationary). Meals will be provided.

Unit Hike

Scouts,

On October 29th 2008, Wednesday, there will be a Unit Hike. The hike will be compulsory for all Scouts, Sec 1-3s. The consent form will be given out this Friday, check the blog on tomorrow/Wednesday for more details. There will be a BBQ after the hike. You are required to assemble at Vivo City (main enterance at the fountain
,first floor)by 11am. The BBQ will end around 8pm, dismissal is at 8.30pm in school.

You are required to bring to following items for the hike:

$5 fee
Green 1.5Litre Sprite water bottle
Poncho
(Optional) Cap/beret


Attire: Half uniform (any type of shoe, crux/sch t-shirt)

PS: The Zhonghua Scouts have invited us to their annual campfire this Saturday. Those who are going please let any PL. Meet opposite school by 5.25pm, we will depart for Zhonghua Secondary at 5.30pm sharp.

UPDATE (16th October 2008, 1610 hrs):

NPC Team- There will be a training camp for all NPC team members next week. Its on October 23rd-25th. If you're unable to attend the camp please let me (Ryan) know by tomorrow or (latest) Saturday. And this Saturday's training, 18th October, will end at 1500hrs.


Sec 3s- There will be an interview for all Sec 3s next week, 24th October, at 2030hrs in school. You are advised to stay overnight but only accomodations will be provided. (Venture Unit Intake Interview)

Dear Scouts,

Please take note that there will be no training until further notice, meeting is most likely to resume after SA2. This applies to the NPC team. There will be no NPC training, for the team, until after exams unless there is a change of plans. There will be no campfires from now until further notice.

Those who did not attend the outing and are supposed to attend the meeting today, but were not present, you are reqired to submit a letter/MC when school reopens. It will be counted as truancy if you do not attend a meeting without a vaild reason.

Advance Camp will be held at the end of October. It will be a 3 days 2 nights camp. There will be updates about the camp, and the dates/duration of the camp are subjected to change with/without prior notice.

Important notice.

To all scouts,

for those who are not going for the sentosa trip on the 30th of aug (saturday), you are still required to come for training on that day.

For sec 3s who are not going, you will be incharge of the day's training. SL Shaun might be coming down to help out.

However, we strongly encourage you to go for the Sentosa trip as our dear SL has put in much effort into planning it. Money shouldn't be a problem, as you are allowed to pay by installments.

Starting from next fridays training onwards, every friday, you are required to standardise to your CRUX SHIRT. Only exceptions are those who are in the NPC team, who would need it for saturday trainings.

To add on, scout uniforms must be brought for every meeting and hung on a hanger.
Scouts should also get the habit of bringing their sprite bottles. If you are lacking any part of the uniform (except boots for sec 1s), please go to the scout HQ and purchase one. Lastly, do bring your scout record book for every meeting.

so, do summarise everything.

- Standardise to crux shirt for friday and preferably saturday meetings.
- Full uniform to be hung on hangers.
- Bring your 1.5 litre sprite bottles
- Replace missing parts of the uniform.
- Bring your scout record books for every meeting.


Scouts who fail to comply will be punished.

If you do not have a crux shirt, please purchase it. it costs $10. (this goes to sec 2s and 3s as well)
