Attendance for Campfire Preparations

Dear all,

Please be informed that attendance for ALL campfire preparation trainings are COMPULSORY.

The campfire is not only our signatue unit event, it does help in the unit attaining our Frank Cooper Sands awards. When the unit gets the awards, the CCA point is also given to each member. Hence it is unfair if some do not contribute or contribute less, yet expect to be given the CCA point.

Hence unless you have a VALID MC (the trainings ae on school days anyway), you will be treated as absent. Letters are not accepted. We have to be strict on this to ensure fairness to all.

If you already have paid tuition ahead or any other events happening on those dates you could inform us (a letter have to be given by 16 May latest)  now as the dates have been put up before the examination was over.

This attendance will be taken into account as your overall attendance for the year. We are doing our best to allow more time for June holidays so we really hope for your co-operation.

Thanks.

Regards,
Ms Siti

Campfire Preparation Dates

Dear scouts,

Our 53rdannual campfire, Fiamma De Tiempo, falls on the 2nd of June 2012, Sat. It is a time to celebrate our achievement in sustaining a Frank Cooper Sands Gold award last year, and as part o our signature annual event. We will be inviting 15-20 scouts/ guides units to come.

After consulting Miss Siti, we have selected the preparation dates. Right after your SA1, we shall all put in our hearts and souls in staging the campfire to showcase our unit.

14/5 (marking day) 0900-1700

16/5 1430-1800

18/5 1430-1800

21/5 1430-1800

23/5 1430-1800

24/5 1430-1800

31/5 0900-1700

1/6 0900-1700

The above dates and timing are subjected to change in lieu of any unforeseen events.

Do attend all preparation trainings; attendance will be taken.

Each individual will be assigned with a specific role. If you are willing to commit your time, our campfire committee will teach all the skills you need in scouting; take up leadership roles and
mastering pioneering skills.

Together, we achieve.
