Updates and notification on 16th May meeting

Dear Parents and Scouts,

1. I am pleased to share that our school has received confirmation from Scout HQ that our Scout Unit and Venture Unit have achieved Silver and Gold Awards respectively for the 2008 Frank Cooper Sands. It is great reward for all the dedication and hard work our scouts and ventures have put in over the past year. And of course, much appreciation for the parents who have given us your absolute support and patience throughout all these years. Thank you once again.

2. I really hope everyone understands the effort that the teachers and alumni have put in to organise camps, activities, training for you all. It is without rewards that we sought to develop you to the best of your abilities. However, a number of you have been very disappointing for the first half of the year in regards to your attendance and attitudes. There is so much we can do for you and if you decide to continue your errant ways, we will not hesitate to take you out of the unit.

3. For scouts who have under 75% attendance, you will be receiving a FAIR conduct for your SA1 result slips. However, you will have a chance to make up for it by being committed in our forthcoming campfire preparations. I urge you one last time to take ownership of your life and review your responsibilities.

4. For those who have not returned the consent forms with the parents' signatures, pass it to PL Jolien or PL Bryan by this Saturday. For those without the forms, i have made use of a file sharing server and you can proceed to download it at http://caprigoat.fileave.com/Campfire%20Training%20Consent%20Form.docAll the campfire preparations dates and times are listed in the consent form.

5. Finally Our scout meeting will commence this Saturday (Fall in at 0800 sharp) Necessary action will be taken on latecomers.

PT kit
Water Bottle (Green Sprite 1.5l)

Regards,
Mr. Lincoln Chan
