Greetings,
The date for this year's CCA Fair has been confirmed: 9th January. Why is CCA Fair important? It is a time for all CCAs to display/showcase - who they are, what they do and why people join/ should join. The fair gives the Sec 1s a better idea of what we do as Scouts.
Just like any major event, preparation will be vital for our success.
The Venture Candidates will be in charge of the whole operation. They will need your cooperation in order to make this a success and benefit both the Venture and Scout unit.
You are also required to prepare your full scout uniform for the fair: Shirt and pants must be ironed, boots polished, berets seasoned, badges sewn properly, woggle not faded, belts not rusty/spoiled, scout socks are to be worn, scarfs must have 5 folds (2 above the woggle & 3 below it), epaulets are to be put on.
Please note that everyone is required to fall-in outside the den for preparation. Details are listed below.

Greetings,
Please note that there are some updates and change(s) for LTC. If you have not collected/received the consent form, please approach any PPL for it.
Objective(s) of LTC:
To provide new insights to leadership as well as to provide you with opportunities to further manifest and put into practice your leadership abilities, refinement of your skills and values in the process. This camp is also to prepare you to take up leadership positions in the unit in 2009.

Scouts,
There will be not more training(s) from now until school reopens next year. This does not apply to any SCC meetings and specialist trainings/meetings (should there be any). However, should there be a need for everyone to gather for a meeting, you will be contacted.
Those who did not turn up for ATC'2008 are reminded that you are to submit an MC/ a parent's letter. If you were overseas, please show the plane ticket/photocopy your passport. A warning/termination letter may be issued if you fail to comply with this protocol.
Please check the blog for future updates.
Yours In Scouting,
PL Ryan
*Edited, changed the text that conflicted with what I'm trying to convery. You'll be contacted if there is a meeting (specialist/SCC/UIC).

Dear Scouts. Please note there will be a meeting this Friday.
Fall in time : 0730.
Please bring along your Full U, water bottles , and PT Kit.
Every meeting is compulsory. If you do not turn up with a valid reason or MC, you will be referred to Mr Chan and your parents will be acknowledged. This goes to all Scouts who do not turn up regularly and do not provide an MC.
Especially to all Sec3s who are not going to ventures.
The SCC has also planned to have less boring meetings stated at the Forum, We expect full attendance this Friday.
Yours in Scouting,
PPL Jolian Yew.
