Dear Scouts,
The next major event
for the scouts will be our Annual Campfire, which will be held on the 22nd
July 2017. Our troop will be inviting scouts from other schools to our campfire,
and your son / ward will be required to plan out a programme for them, and
prepare the necessary logistics for the campfire. This is usually the time for
the scouts to showcase their talents, and display the skills they have learnt
during their scouting journey in St. Gabriel’s.
The training sessions in June and July will be focused primarily on
the preparation for the campfire. The sessions are mostly held in the
afternoon, to facilitate the attendance of the venture / rover scouts who have
graduated in previous years. Please refer to the table below for the list of
scheduled trainings dates in June.
