Final Preparation for NPC 2008

NPC Team,


For tomorrow's meeting, you are required to meet the follow criteria(s):

1. Fall-in by 1245 hours in Full Scout Uniform
2. Bring your full pack (missing items is not acceptable)
3. Hair must be cut according to the school rules

Please note that there is a change in the packing list.

Things to bring:

1. Full Scout Uniform
2. Track shoes
3. 5 sets of clothing (PT kit, socks, underwear)
4. 2 Green 1.5 litre Sprite water bottles with your name and school/unit.
5. Torchlight (in working condition with batteries in it)
6. An extra set of batteries
7. Ground Sheet
8. Bath towel (gym/face towel not required)
9. Toothbrush
10. Mess Tins
11. Utensils
12. Stationary (pen, pencil, eraser, ruler)
13. Notebook
14. Plastic/Zip-lock bags
15. Powder (optional)
16. Personal Medication (IMPORTANT)
17. Slippers/Sandals
18. Hangers

Please waterproof your stuff, I reccommend that you put them in zip-lock bags (A4 size). And label all your stuff (except your clothes) so that they won't be taken by mistake.

Do take note that after inspection, we will be settling some logistics stuff and then we'll be loading the equipment on to the transport. There will be a shuttle bus bringing us to Sarimbun Scout Camp.

If you are unable to attend tomorrow's meeting, please inform SL Shaun, ATL Bryan and me. The meeting is very important, no mistakes must be made.

Please pack your bags tonight, have a good rest and be prepared.

Remaining Scout meetings for the year

take note of the following date and times of the remaining training meetings and activity for the year 2008. activities are compulsory(attendance will be recorded). any absence must be accompanied by a Medical Certificate or a Parent's Letter.

26th Nov, Wed : 1300-1800hrs*
1st Dec, Mon : 0730-1500hrs*
5th Dec, Fri : 0730-1300hrs
10th-13th Dec, Wed-Sat : Annual Training Camp, see Indemnity form.

*may end earlier or later depending on the speed of the boys and the conditions of the competition/camp area.

30th Nov : Open house at Sarimbun Scout Camp for the National Patrol Camp (NPC) and all members of the Scout Unit are encouraged to attend and observe/take note of the Team's efforts as well as those of other Units'
-meeting time : 1300hrs
-venue : St Gabirel's Secondary School
-dismissal time : 2200(prize presentation)
contact SL Shaun at 8198 0845 by 27th Nov as transport will need to be arranged if you wish to attend.

contact SL Shaun as well if you wish to leave earlier or stay overnight and you will be advised accordingly.

Meeting update

To all scouts,

There is a scouts meeting this friday.Metting starts at 730am and ends at 12 to 1230pm.Bring your FULL UNIFORM,WATER BOTTLE,PT KIT,AND FOR THOSE WHO DID NOT ATTEND PAST FEW MEETINGS BRING YOUR PARENT'S LETTER OR M.C.

Sec3 who are not ventures are required to attend.

Metting is COMPULSORY.

There will be a short meeting on Monday, November 17th, at 10 am. You are required to fall-in in PT attire.


Task(s) to complete: Bring down and clean up the campsite (gateway+R&R area).


This meeting will only be for the NPC team (and VCs who'll be helping) but Scouts who wish to help are most certainly welcomed.

NPC Training Camp

Wolf Pack,

The last training camp for NPC 2008 will be held on Wednesday, November 12th, to Saturday, November 15th. It will be a 4 day 3 night camp held in school. Camp starts at 0900 hours sharp.

Fall-in by: 0845 hours
in Crux shirt and PT shorts with your belongings.

Please bring everything that is stated on the standard packing list. The only difference is extra clothes and mess tins. Bring 1 Crux shirt, 3 school pe shirts/plain white shirt. Do not bring CV outfit. Please remember to bring your full Scout uniform with no missing items. Also bring along your notebook, file and stationary and do not forget your hangers. And don't forget to have your parent/guardian sign the indemnity(consent) form that you're required to hand in by Wednesday.

Full Scout Uniform - 1 set (includes boots)
Shirts, shorts, underwear - 4 sets
Socks - 4 pairs (scout socks&3 white)
Green 1.5L Sprite water bottle - 2 sets
Mess Tins - 2 sets

Training update.

Do take note that there will be training next Friday and Saturday (14th and 15th Nov)

Requirements: PT kit, 1.5 litre water bottle (sprite), full uniform.

Fall in time for both trainings: 7.30am (sharp)
Fall out time for both trainings: 12pm - 12.30pm

Do comply to the stated requirements.

*All seniors (non ventures) are expected to turn up for both meetings.
