2008 CCA FAIR (Mr. Lincoln Chan)

Accolades

First and foremost, i would like to say a big thank you to Gary Sir and Shaun Sir for their selfless efforts and contributions towards our ventures and scouts, including our most recent CCA Fair.
With their continuous presence and guidance, you guys have grown and learnt to take on and handle greater responsibilities. And we should never take their support and help for granted.

It has been heartwarming during the Fair to see you guys trying ya outmost to 'seduce' the young sec 1s into our lair and ensuring they dun escape from our clutches. I saw patient explanations of our ideals and demonstrations of our abilities and skills in building the various interesting structures. It has been a wonderful experience working with you guys and i hope all of you will show the same or even greater commitment in the years to come. Me and the fellow teachers-in-charge, Mr. Zhang Huasheng and Mr. Alvin Goh will do our utmost to facilitate your learning and answer any needs and problems you may encounter, whether in family or in academic studies.

Finally, special thanks and appreciation to all the old boys, ventures (current and probationary) who have taken the cue n inititative to lead our scouts and steering them into this wonderful and fufilling experience. And definitely also to the parents for their continuous support and understanding throughout our collective learning journey.

Post CCA Fair Stuff =)

Hi everyone!

Hope you all had an exhilarating experience before, during and after the CCA fair. Praise God for the wonderful weather (even though there were timely drizzles and mild downpours =))!

Pray that both the Scout and Venture Unit will have an accomplishing, fine and inspiring 2008!

Good effort, good start. This CCA fair, though considered extremely important (the recruitment) is just a minor assignment. There are many more to come so be prepared =P

Work harder and we will definitely accomplish much more and reach superior heights. Hah! This is just the beginning of your extensive journey that will be filled with much obstacles to spring clean!)

The Probationary Ventures would also like to thank you guys for your efforts and cooperation. (pats and hats)

Till next time - Study hard, play hard, work hard and follow your aspirations! Set desirable examples to the - so you guys call - 'dumplings'.

Servant Leader, Lifelong Learner, Gracious Citizen, Serve and Inspire. (nice.)

I love writing these mushy stuff =) Bear with it.. feel it.. love it..

Photos are coming soon.. Not uploaded yet.

Finally, like Swami Vivekanadas said: In a day, when you don't come across any problems - you can be sure that you are travelling in a wrong path =)

Cheers and All the Best!
